HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME
It's my birthday! I'm 63 - yee gawds, how did that happen?? I'm bald - I know how that happened! I have breast cancer, am having enough hot flashes to explain global warming, am getting nasty chemo treatments, and I'm a happy camper!
I have an incredible circle of friends around me, lifting me up when I'm down, cheering me on, making me laugh, plying me with love and gifts - huge cuddly stuffed critters, gorgeous plants and tropical flowers, live wiggly critters (a Lobstergram for my birthday!), chocolate and giggles, a gift card for a wig from my bestest pals in the Platinum Set of Hawaii days, cards and hugs and pictures and laughs every day in my email box, encouraging comments in this silly blog (Patty, who are you??), pals lining up to keep me company thru the summer of chemo treatments, and my marvelous Silver Fox who has held my hand thru this whole ordeal when he barely knew my name when it hit! What more could I ever ask for?

I'm just a Blog reader. I think that I first started reading your Blog when you were camping near Annette (I think her name was) somewhere in AZ. It's been so long ago, I don't really remember what town it was near, or if I even have her name right. I used to read her Blog until she had to stop writing it, because other park residents didn't appreciate what she was saying about them. Do you remember her? Is she well? I have just loved reading about your travels, so I guess I've been reading your Blog for quite awhile. Patty
